About Hypno-Psychotherapeutic Counselling

I’m Francesca, an integrative therapist, psychotherapeutic counsellor, and hypnotherapist. I provide a calm and non-judgmental space for healing and change. My approach is accepting, warm, and supportive.

Counselling is a form of talking therapy that supports you in discovering new ways to resolve emotional issues and overcome life’s challenges. Psychotherapeutic counselling emphasises the in-depth therapeutic relationship jointly created by the therapist and the client.

Hypno-psychotherapeutic counselling uses hypnotherapy and hypnosis within counselling sessions. The process uncovers experiences at the level of the unconscious mind. It brings memories and feelings into the conscious so they can be explored, deconstructed, and healed with the support of a professional.

My approach to therapy and counselling is integrative and person-centred, which means I use various therapeutic methods to explore and address what’s most meaningful to you.

How I can help you

I have experience helping my clients explore and resolve a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, loneliness, anger, grief, and sleep problems.

I also support clients with relationship difficulties, including overcoming sexual issues and exploring attachment patterns. I also support the processing and integration of psychedelic experiences and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

What are your qualifications?

I am a qualified counsellor and have completed a Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapeutic Counselling with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. I have also completed a Diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

I am a registered hypnotherapist and acknowledged supervisor with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), and I support the development of other practitioners through one-to-one and group supervision.

I am also a qualified coach with a Diploma in Mindfulness Life Coaching from the Centre for Mindfulness in the UK. I’m a qualified meditation practitioner and teacher, with a focus on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Insight Meditation practices.

How many sessions will I need?

Results vary from person to person. Short-term therapy or counselling may be the right approach if you are looking for support in a period of distress or difficulty. Medium or long-term therapy is more explorative and can help you understand your life, your relationships, and the patterns you’ve experienced.
